Margaret Smith, Edith Eidem, and Delia Bridget O'Callaghan, three WW II ex-Wacs, bought the Ranch in February 1947 from Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stewart. They operated the 300-acre ranch as a dude ranch. Roy Marfitano in his U.S. Army uniform prior to being discharged after World War II. He is standing on the steps of a building. Roy, Ronnie Dump and Buster Beck enlisted together in 1943. Roy worked in the Gilman Mine assay office from 1948-1972.
