Roy Marfitano in his U.S. Army uniform prior to being discharged after World War II. He is standing on the steps of a building. Roy, Ronnie Dump and Buster Beck enlisted together in 1943. Roy worked in the Gilman Mine assay office from 1948-1972.

1942-1944: Tenth Mountain Division ski trooper in training at Camp Hale. Trooper caught in mid-jump with rifle on back. The troops trained at Camp Hale and later saw action in Europe.
