Building construction at the Methodist Church in Eagle, Colorado. A woman and three younger boys have shown up to assist, as well as a small black dog (standing in the wooden frame ready for concrete). They appear to be laying out a new sidewalk or walkway and are almost ready to pour concrete.
John Bunker, back to camera, is walking downhill from the weaning sheds toward Beaver Creek. Fleck Ditch flume and the old road up the east side of Beaver Creek is visible in the background. Inscription: "7/24/28"
[Title supplied from catalog prepared by the Eagle County Historical Society.]
Mary Jo, a toddler, and Bobby Trezise stand on either side of the day's hunt. A man and a dog stand on the far right of the photograph watching them. Other equipment can be seen in the background on the left and a large woodpile on the far right.
Hans Larsen, along with two other men and a dog, appear to be chopping a tree in the barnyard. There is a fence, trees, and numerous buildings also in the picture.
Left to right, Milt Claycomb & Hans Larsen stand with an elk between them. Hans is holding a gun in one hand and a big smile. There is also a dog in the foreground with a shed/barn in the background.
"Uncle James Damon and Ralph" (caption from top of photo)
Uncle James would be Uncle to Melissa Larsen (Trezise). Ralph is the young boy leaning on him. They are in front of a porch and house, and another house along with a fenceline can be seen behind them.
From left to right: Mary Jo, (?), Hans Larsen, & Bobby Trezise. The group stands with a deer hanging and the dog Skipper. Hans and Mary Jo each have a hand on an antler.
Claude (Mike) Gerard on the Gerard ranch. There is a tractor hooked to a spreader on the right and another vehicle on the left. A building is in the background and there is snow and mud, indicating springtime.
