The view is to the Northwest. The property belonged to H.T. Whitaker. Just to the left is now Belleview Park.

W. Belleview is in foreground. Mr. Whitaker's house is the white spot to the right of the sign. Scott Altenbach is standing next to the sign. The row of cottonwoods in the center were next to Whitaker's irrigation ditch. The water for the ditch came from a dam on Little Dry Creek near Burt Chevrolet on S. Broadway.
