The Eagle Lumber Co. loading shed for the Denver & Rio Grand railroad at Peterson Creek gulch in the Eagle River Canyon (about .5 mi. from Red Cliff and 2 mi. from Belden). The logs were sent down on the surface tram running down the gulch in this photo and then loaded on train cars. A Zephyr wreck in Glenwood Canyon. On March 29, 1968, a passenger train was passing through Glenwood Canyon near Grizzly Creek when it derailed. Two of the diesel locomotives, F9A 5774 and F9B 5773, were later retired and sold for scrap to Barter Machinery & Supply Company out of Denver in May of 1969. Motorists can be seen on the other side of the river observing the wreck,
