Studio portrait of Breta Louise Nylund Gustafson (1857-1893), wife of Charles and mother of Charles and WIlliam Gustafson and Sophia Gustafson Ryden. She is wearing a high collar and brooch. She was married to Charles Gustafson in Finland. Mr. Gustafson arrived in Leadville in 1880 and was a miner before moving to Gypsum. Breta and his children joined him in 1891. She died in 1893.
