Studio portrait of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Albertson, Burns, Colorado. Married Nov. 11, 1903, in Burns. Ella McMillan Albertson was born in 1883, Guthrie, Iowa; died May 3, 1969 (86 yrs.). Charles F. Albertson was born in Otter Tail County, Minnesota, Jan. 27, 1873; died Sept. 1953. Charles is seated in a chair, legs crossed, with Ella standing at his right, holding a handkerchief in her hands.

1890's cabin where Mr. and Mrs. John Edge lived when they came to Burns, Colorado, to homestead. The chicken coop was on the left, living rooms were in the middle and the wagon shed was on the right. The cabin was still standing in 1986 on the place called "Edge," owned by Benton Land & Livestock Co.
