The Great K & A Train Robbery was filmed in Glenwood Canyon in 1926. Tom Mix, the star, did his own stunts, including some on a moving train, that thrilled those watching. James J. Flynn was the fireman on the train in the film. He had a picture of Tom Mix with the train crew which he submitted to the Green Light, a magazine for Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad employees.
