Son of Jacob and Mary Buchholz Ruder [Mary was Nicholas Buchholz' sister], John was born Dec. 3, 1887, and came with his family to Eagle County in 1894. He lived most of his life on Gore Creek where the family homesteaded a ranch beginning in 1897. Ralph L.
