This is Glen A. Starbuck, the owner of Starbuck's Dairy. Glen's father Seth owned and operated the Starbuck ranch and dairy during the 1930s and 40s before passing it to Glen. The dairy was located on the west end of Rainbow Boulevard in Salida, Colorado. Today this is the location of the Starbuck's Subdivision. This image is from the Salida Museum Negatives Collection.

The Mineral Hot Springs in the San Luis Valley were a part of Hot Springs City. During the 1950s, Robert Dunshee, an early developer of the site, died, and the resort was mostly abandoned. This is now Joyful Journey Hot Springs. This image is from the Salida Museum Negatives Collection.
